MoltNode keys

Swap through Chord.
Get more RPC.

Free: 2,000 requests a day per IP, no key. Swap $10 through Chord and your wallet earns a key worth 100,000 requests a month. The more you swap, the more requests you get.

No swap yet? A free Chord key gives 10,000 requests a day.

Sign in on getchord.xyz with email, Google or X, copy the key, send it as header X-Chord-Key. Under a minute.

    Swap through Chord

Any amount from $10, on any Chord chain: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Monad, Robinhood Chain or Arc, at getchord.xyz or through Chord's API.

  2. 2

    Sign once

Connect the wallet that swapped and sign a message. Free: no transaction, no funds move.

  3. 3

    Use the key

Send it as header X-MoltNode-Key, or add ?key= to any MoltNode URL (wallets cannot send headers).

Swap on Chord first

Use it

curl https://moltnode.ag/base \
  -H "X-MoltNode-Key: mn_…" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[]}'

# wallets and libraries without headers:
https://moltnode.ag/base?key=mn_…

One key works on every MoltNode chain. Check usage: GET /api/quest/key with the same header.

Questions

What counts as volume?
Swaps your wallet sent through Chord's router in the last 30 days, in USD: a stablecoin leg at its amount, the chain's own coin (ETH, BNB, AVAX, MON) at today's price. Swaps between two other tokens are not counted.
When does my key move up or down?
MoltNode reads your volume again at most once an hour while you use the key. Swap more and the key moves up; stop swapping and after 30 days it falls back to the free 2,000 a day until you swap again.
What is counted?
Every JSON-RPC request; a batch of 10 is 10. Keys count per wallet per UTC month, the free allowance per IP per UTC day. Every answer carries x-moltnode-quota: used/limit.
I lost my key.
Claim again from the same wallet. The new key replaces the old one, and the month's count stays with the wallet.
Smart-contract wallets?
Not yet: sign with the wallet that sent the swap (an EOA such as MetaMask, Rabby or a hardware wallet).
